DIY Bracelets and Necklaces

Colorful bracelets and necklaces are very popular this Summer.  All over the Netherlands, and probably in many other parts of the world you can buy macramé, braided, crocheted and beaded jewelry in the stores and they can be quite expensive.

But why buy in a store when it is so much fun to experiment with making these bracelets and necklaces yourself.  The sky is the limit ... you can use rope, cotton wool, leather, beads, zpaghetti yarn, recycled t-shirts, paper beads, clay beads, buttons ..... you can macramé, braid or crochet them, you can use a knitting fork, a french knitting tool, or use the scoubidou technique .... and fortunately you can find all these techniques on youtube ;-)

Have a lot of fun experimenting with the different techniques and I hope you'll end up with a lot of beautiful, colorful bracelets and necklaces this Summer ;-)
